Appearance: clear amber in color with a spotty head. No lacing develops.
Smell: loads of black pepper, yeast, and caramel are easily detectable.
Taste: caramel, pepper, yeast, some slight earthiness, ripe plums, and a mild bitterness are the most notable flavor components.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp throughout with some dryness late. Aftertaste is very long as the flavors linger in the mouth for a while after swallowing.
Drinkability: decent beer but more than two of these in a session may be too much.
