750 ml bottle. Drank in Autumn 2008 (forgot the actual date). On the sticker it is written a pilsner beer, strong beer. This beer is 5,5% alc.

This beer pours pale yellow and looks very nice. A little bit veiled. Poured this one in my Unibroue pint glass.

The aroma is inviting and the intensity is average. Malts smell.

The beer is marrowy and quite refreshing. I taste some malts note and the beer is somewhat bitter but the bitterness is not overwhelming.

I very like this one. Should have bought more since i can't find it anymore!! :(

750ml caged-corked cellaring bottle.

Pours a lush hazy unfiltered amber-gold lager into the stein with a 3 finger sticky white cap. Fantastic lacing on the glass. Lively carbonation

Aroma is pungent bready sweet malts with some fresh green apple and musty woody tones from noble hopping.

Rich silken mouth feel with an incredible amber Munich malt spine in perfect balance with both bittering and aromatic noble hopping.

Flavour profile starts with a big chew of thick bready malt in the front which is quickly balanced by Hallertauer and Hersbrucker bittering, mid palate some sweetness and light apple tones get a musty woody undertone from the Spalter and Tettnanger hopping, then a clean dry finish with a biscuity after taste...bloody awesome lager
