Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a small dark brown foamy head with limited retention and light lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt with some sweet vinous notes from the Tokaji barrels. Taste is a mix of chocolate notes with some sweet vinous notes from the Tokaji barrels with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and faint warming alcohol notes. Enjoyable version of this classic with barrels adding another dimension and vinous notes balancing the bitter chocolate notes.
