Far and away one of their better beers, this named-to-amuse brew is actually some sort of Pale Ale/Wheat Beer hybrid. It comes served with a lemon, which was promptly removed, but the whole beer has a really zesty, wheat beer feel to it.
This brings back memories of Oberon from years past when it had more hop bite. Just a bit fruity up front with some real lemon character and a citric bite at the end. Refreshing! Very light in color and in body -- there seems to be less yeast than one might expect -- but a decent amount of flavor. Quite literally what you'd expect from a hybrid of pale ale and wheat beer: a refreshing, zesty, lemon, citric beer with just a hint of cloves and exceptionally easy to drink.
