Very clear and deep brown with a hint of red. There are thin wisps of foam with a fine-textured ring.
Smells malty with a hint of alcohol.
Tastes quite sweet, nutty, and a little sour. There is a well-rounded roasted malt bitter finish.
Medium body. Medium carbonation. There is foamy sensation with the very fine bubbles.
This is continuation of my theory that Grizzly Peak brews very good beers but also no spectacular beers. This one is very good.
