Originally reviewed on January 21, 2005. On tap at the brewpub. Pour of deep brown with some soapy head. Light butter roast aroma. Flavor is salty, generally allspiced and with some weak roastedness. Tastes like an even blend of Anchor OSA and Bells Porter. Not much character. Spiciness is subdued and the porter character is thin and in the background. Not well played. Finishes sweet with a light figginess.
