On cask tap at the brewery's pub in downtown Ann Arbor. This is a wood aged version of their Sheerwater
This clear amber colored ale has a fine white head that leaves plentiful lacing sticking to the glass. While woody notes dominate the aroma the flavor is quite a bit more funky and includes more barnyard notes along with moderate bitterness and significant tartness. Brett is present, i presume.
Lively mouthfeel for a cask ale.
