A - Really nice looking beer. Deep red with a little yellow on the edges. Two fingers of solid head left behind cascading sheets on the glass as I drank this.
S - Smells like a strong red. Lots of caramel malts, some bit of piney hops.
T - Taste is a little heavy handed. It's full of big caramel malts and very amber tasting. The hops could be a little bit stronger in this to give it some variety.
M - Lost points on this one. Too flat, makes the beer too heavy. Some more active carbonation would liven it up a bit and help the flavor profile out also. heavier side of medium bodied.
O - It's okay, but not great. Really just seems like an amber that got too big for itself and lost what could have made it good.
