Copenhagen 4/4 2017. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Picture of nice and well poured beer on the label.
Pours hazy amber with bubbly white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of creamy foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet and fruity. Reminds me of a can of canned peach. A little bit of fermentation and light alcohol. Light citric notes.
Soft carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly more pronounced sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish.
Refreshing and summerly - but not much of an IPA.

500 ml bottle, BB date 30.06.19, from Skjold Burne Skagen. ABV is 6.2%. Deep golden to orange colour, large white head. Aroma of caramel, fruity and spicy hops and jam. The flavour has dry and "dusty" hops on a background of slightly sweet malts with caramel, low bitterness. Dry aftertaste.

Bottle. Medium white head, semi-hazy amber pour. Notes of honey, green hops, red berries, lemon zest. Medium body and carbonation and a bitter-sweet finish.

50cl bottle poured into imperial pint glass.
A- Dark toffee caramel copper body, sitting a top is a 3 finger creamy head, that disappates quickly leaving some very good lacing.
S- An oaky quality with sweet caramel malts.
T- A tangy infusion of sweet caramel toffee biscuity malts balanced with the citrus floral notes of the hops. Malt qualities far more apparent here than in english/USA varieties.
An oaky/smoked nutty aftertaste lingers on
M- Medium body and moderate carbonation.
D- Its not a classic IPA, doesnt have the refreshing quality, too much malt. However, considering it as beer rather than IPA, it has an interesting smokey sweet malt quality that is quite quaffable. Maybe the worlds first rauchPA??
Interesting
