Copenhagen 18/9 2017. 33 cl bottle from Kvickly in Middelfart. Very red label with somebody who has been drinking too much Imperial Stout doing the lettering.
Pours opaque dark brown with lightly beige head. A bit bubbly. Disappears fairly fast leaving thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is dense and intense with a strong bitter scent of Dark chocolate and bitter coffee. A more subdued sweetness lurking in the background.
Low carbonation and thick, oily, viscous, creamy, flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness nicely balanced by a fairly strong bitterness. Aftertaste bitter-sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Fine heavy stout that took some time to sip.
