With the taste and aroma of both smoked and whiskey malt combined with the maturation on roasted oak chips and a combination of Centenial and Perle hops, you can safely sit back and be reminded of the Wild West while enjoying this beer.

Egå Engsø 24/7 2020. 50 cl bottle from Vin & Vin, Østergade, Silkeborg. Gun man with smoking gun on the label. A part of Grauballe’s Wanted-series with a Western theme.
Pours murky maroon with a medium-sized off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with strange mixture of sweetness and peaty smoke. Sweet caramel meets bonfire. Ashtray and licorice.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense. Medium strong sweetness followed by a salty flavor. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Smoky salty finish.
Quite sweet for a smoked beer. A tad too sweet. By the way: “Smoak”???
