Søhøjlandets Frokostøl is a golden brew with not nearly as many percentages as our other specialty beers.
It has a light and round malt body and a hop flavor that is based on both classic and modern hops, including Goldings and Mosaic. If you enjoy Søhøjlandets Frokostøl cold, you will find that it has a flavor and hop aroma that belong to much stronger beers.

Copenhagen 30/9 2019. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard (Web-shop). Simple black and yellow label stating the obvious: That this is a low alcohol so-called Lunch beer.
Pours unclear amber with a very big, extremely bubbly head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is pretty intense, sweetish with a light tart twist. Sweet pale malts, Caramel. Citrus and unripe berries.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is thin. Medium sweet followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Lingers shortly.
Quite good nose for a low alcohol beer - but can't follow it up flavor-vise.
