Copenhagen 22/6 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Apparently part of some culinary offensive involving seaweed and things you can make involving seaweed. The version I am drinking is brewed at Grauballe Bryghus and credited to Nordisk Tang.
Very gushy upon opening. Pours hazy, golden yellow with a big, white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing to speak of.
Aroma is bitter sweet with an acerbic touch. Tart berries, citrus, grass, Spruce, touch of salt - probably from the infamous Seaweed.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery and fizzy texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. A little rough around the edges. Aftertaste is bitter with a light herbal, salty touch. Lingers for a while.
A bit on the Herbal side but with a fairly strong bitter kick.
