Buffalo Bill was a bison hunter and a master marksman. At the same time, he was a legend in the drama of the “wild west”, which this series of beers is
inspired by.
With its 9.3%, Buffalo Bill is a real wild bass. With the combination of red melanoidin malts and lots of complex Bramling Cross hops, it gives a different Barley Wine.
This beer focuses on malt, body and hop aroma. Definitely worth a taste or ten.

Copenhagen 19/5 2019. 50 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus (formely Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel). A part of Grauballe Brewery's Western inspired series. This time with Buffalo Bill's bearded visage looking gravely at me.
Pours hazy amber with a very small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin , lonely patch of foam roaming the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet and bit boozy. Caramel, toffee, candy, brown sugar. Dark fermented fruit providing a boozy background. Light tart notes rummaging in the background.
Low carbonation. Flat, oily, sticky, medium thick texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a rudimentary bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light boozy burn. A rough bitterness in the finish. Lingering.
A boozy, lightly sticky, sweet treat. If you are into that.
