Copenhagen 3/3 2019. 75 cl bottle from Vinbørsen, Kbh Ø. Drawing of Red Dragon with a golden sword and shield on the label. Seems to be numbered with a golden marker. I seem to be drinking # 835.
Pours opaque dark brown with small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy island of foam covering half the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is dark, sweet and potent. Brown sugar, molasses, metal, sweet sherry, shoe polish, salt water breeze and a strong presence of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Soft, creamy, oily, thick texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness and only a negligible bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a solid alcoholic burn. Lingering.
Solid very sweet imperial stout which leads meto conclude the guys from Grauballe thinks that the Russians enjoy their beer very dark, very sweet and very boozy.
