Copenhagen 10/3 2017. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly.When you look at the label you think you are about to consume some kind of medicine.
Pours hazy dark brown with yellowish head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam. Very moderate Lacing.
Aroma is not particularly intense. It has caramel sweetness without overdoing it. Brown sugar, roasted malts and light notes of hops.
Medium strong carbonation ad watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium bitterness. Quite nicely balanced. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering.
Not exactly outstanding but quite solid Brown Ale.
