Forårs Bock is a light bock and made according to the German style Helles Bock. It is a traditional Bavarian recipe where the color is light but where the beer still has lots of malt flavor and strength. It is a lovely fresh beer with a clean flavor and lots of warmth and which can be enjoyed all spring long.
Brewed from water, barley malt and hops (Mandarina). Pasteurized and naturally carbonated.

Copenhagen 16/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Green label with a single tree and flowers in the background.
Pours hazy orange with a white head. A bit bubbly. Disappear fairly fast leaving only small lonely patches of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is a bit boozy with distinct sweet notes. Vanilla and fermented fruit. Sour undertones.
Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Gently tingling texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by a light bitterness. Alcohol lingering in the aftertaste.
Not especially springlike unless you associate spring with boozy sweet strong beer.
