Copenhagen 22/9 219. 50 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård (web-shop). Somber label with a glass of Stout, the name of the beer and brewery and a very short description of the beer: Mild Porter.
Pour clear dark hazel brown with a with a big light beige head. Settlesas thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is dark, sweet, roasted and malty. Sweet caramel, salty licorice. Dark roasted malts and brown sugar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, yet lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Kind of thin. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly.
A pretty light stout with a fairly hard carbonation. Easy to drink and pretty light weight.

500mL bottle purchased in DK. Poured into a dimpled stein...
A: Brown-black, with a light coffee head; stronger carbonation keeps the retention going, but lacing is minimal.
S: Unfortunately, a pretty light aroma; muted roasted malts; some hints of depth and maltiness, but not much.
T: Roasted flavor that quickly fades; some chocolate notes, but again, nothing big.
M: Medium-light feel and high carbonation - makes it feel a bit thin overall.
O: A very traditional porter. Aroma and taste are quite basic and the feel leaves something to be desired. Seem like it would be better on draft for some reason.
