I don't know if it's because I'm drunk and with the whole set and setting thing, but this IPA has such great character with vibrant hops across a sweet malt backdrop. Straight fire. I got it at Freddy's Bar in Copenhagen as a night cap. First time I've been in a bar that allowed smoking inside since I lived in New Orleans. Not that that's a good thing, I'm definitely outta here after I finish this beer. But Great vibes, great beer. So tasty

Copenhagen 16/12 2017. 50 cl bottle from Irma. Label with green cross in Herslev usual style with strange ornaments and appropriate focus that this is their biodynamic version of their IPA.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with frothy white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is not particularly strong for an IPA. Gets stronger as the beer warms up. Some sweet exotic fruit - mainly peach - and citric notes of grapefruit.
Light to medium carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter.
Decent IPA. A little watery - but goes through the motions.

500 ml bottle, as Herslev Økologisk India Pale Ale, brew #396, from Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. ABV is 6%. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Big and lasting white head. Very nice aroma of fruity hops (tropical fruits), also some piney notes. Plenty of carbonation in the mouth. Distinct hoppy flavour throughout, notes of pine, grapefruity bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Good beer!

A 500ml bottle found in a supermarket on my visit to Copenhagen. It pours a clear golden colour with a off white head. Aroma is of caramel, orange and citrus hops. Tastes of citrus, orange, pine & grainy malt. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Aftertaste has a mild sweetness citrus medium bitter finish.
