Copenhagen 29/12 2016. 50 cl bottle from Irma. Viking ornaments on the label.

Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Stable. Settles as a thin layer of foam. No lacing.

Aroma is moderately malty sweet with fresh whiff of freshly mown grass. Bitter notes.

Medium strong carbonation and watery palate.

Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a nice medium strong bitterness.

Good pilsner - a good lunch companion.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. Brew #421. ABV is 5.5%. Some sediment in the bottle. Extremely pale yellow colour, slightly hazy, huge white head. Sweetish aroma of malt sugar and grassy hops. Despite some malty sweetness in the flavour, there are enough hops to make the beer feel fairly crisp. Very bitter finish and aftertaste.
