The liquid is hazy; the colour is pale orange-yellow. The large white foam sinks quickly to a finger thick head, leaving no lacing.

The smell is yeasty and fresh with sour notes of wheat and some mild spicy hints.

The taste got sour notes of wheat and a nice sweet flavour of fresh wood and dental chewing gum plus a spicy hint. The aftertaste got a smooth sweet flavour as well as a touch of syrup. There are some neutral bitter notes too, as a hint of alcohol.

The carbonation is very strong, lots of somewhat sharp large bubbles. The liquid is light.

This is an interesting take on the wit style. However, I miss some of the spices that usually appear in them.

A: Pale yellow, very hazy with lots of bubbles in the liquid. A medium sized frothy white airy head settles quickly and leaves small lacings.

S: White bread, flour, lemon peel, clementine - quite a lot of semi-sharp fruit esters actually. Plenty of earthy yeast. Some floral notes and phenols.

T: Not much going on here. A some faint fruity notes - lemon peel and banana. Plenty of yeast, white bread, wheat and some dough. Some floral notes, and perhaps this is where the birch becomes present. Gentle spices (cloves) in the middle. The finish is short and quite sharp with some esters and yeast, but at first, the aromas are almost completely overpowered by an overly active carbonation. Not really impressed by the taste. It's too weak and lacks character.

M: Moderate body, too thin in my opinion. And as noted, quite a lot of carbonation with small and aggressive bubbles. Semi-dry texture.

D: I'm not really impressed by this one. It's an ok witbier, but absolutely nothing more than ok. Overall, the flavors and aromas are too restrained, and the bland finish is a real letdown. But I guess it would be a great thirst quencher if you drink it really cold.
