Copenhagen 4/6 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Herslev's usual label design in dark blue and brown.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as meagre remnants of foam floating about. No lacing
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, toasted odor mingling with a whiff of sourish notes. Toasted mats, caramel, toffee, a bit of brown sugar, sourish grains. Citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, a bit greasy texture. almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry with a touch of biscuit.
Decent Vienna.
