Pilsner 4000 is a completely clean pilsner with a perfect balance between hops and malt. It is slightly darker than our normal pilsner, as Müncher Malt is used with inspiration from the lager.

Copenhagen 25/6 2023. 50 cl bottle from Irma, Smedetoften, Kbh NV. Herslev's usual label design in dark and light green.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam floating in the middle the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, odor mingling with a light scent of sour grains and bit of citrus. Sweet pale malts, caramel, toffee and bread. Subdued grass and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Quite sweet for a Pilsner.
