We have made a really good IPA – it is brewed in collaboration with Herslev Bryghus and it is made with honey from the bees at Sinatur Hotel Frederiksdal and heather from the Jutland heath at Sinatur Hotel Skarrildhus.

Copenhagen 4/5 2017. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly in Middelfart. Brewed for a Hotel Chain who has supplied some of the ingredients (honey and heather).
Pours hazy orange with small white head. Settles as lonely little patch of foam drifting aimlessly around.
Aroma of sweet fermented fruit with strong citric overtones.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is quite sweet with only moderate bitterness. Might be the honey coming through. Aftertaste is sweetish with citric overtones and some sourness.
Not bad - but just not very interesting.
