This organic Herslev Bryghus – Double IPA is not to be missed. Here there is massive hop pressure, intense fruitiness and a solid malt base, which brings it all together in a complex and full-bodied experience.
The taste is packed with exotic fruits, resin and citrus, balanced elegantly against a heavy, slightly sweet malt body, which makes it suitable for both quiet reflection and lively company. It is a beer that can be drunk slowly, but also lifts the mood in one go.
Perfect for those who want more of everything – without losing balance.

Copenhagen 17/5 2018. 50 cl bottle from Irma, Smedetiften, Kbh. NV. Herslev's usual design in blue.
Pours hazy orange with a lot of yeast swirling around. Medium-sized white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is little like a Screwdriver. Lemonade and vodka. Exotic fruit like peach and mango, sharp citric notes. A little boozy.
Low carbonation. Medium thick creamy texture.
Flavor has fairly strong sweetness. Followed by even stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent take on a DIPA with enough malt to balance the hops - and enough flavor to endure the ABV.
