Copenhagen 5/8-2017. 33 cl can from Føtex. ØlFabrikkens usual design in gold/orange. I do not know if their tagline: " A Factory that makes beer" will ever be very inviting.
Pours clear copper with bubbly white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is quite sweet but not very strong. Brown sugar, nutty with light whiff of bitterness.
Light carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and slightly sugary.
Very much on the sweet side where I prefer a little more bitterness in a Brown Ale. But not bad for a disguised Harboe beer.

500ml swing top bottle bought online from The Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam..
Poured a deep mahogany brown colour. Nice creamy tan head poured very tight, thick and foamy then faded slowly to nice thin smooth coating... No carbonation at all... some decent sticky lacing...
Aroma - Lots of roasted nuttiness mixed with caramel malts, brown sugar and treacle, some cardboard / earthy hints, dark fruits (figs and prunes), musty traces, toasted bread, light butterscotch notes, light coffee hints...
Taste - Oh yeah - i really like this.. exactly as a brown ale should be in my opinion... deep rich roasted nutty sweetness, lots of chocolate and caramel malts, toasted buttery bread, just the slightest hint of smoke / tobacco, faint metallic notes, nice peppery / grassy hops cut through the maltiness, some fig and red grape fruitiness...
Feel - Smooth and creamy... Medium / full bodied... Extremely drinkable - i could happily knock back a few of these in a session...
Overall - A superb example of a brown ale... very well balanced and drinkable... definitely recommended...

Fairly clear, brown-ish color, with light brown head that thinned, but lasted. Lots of malt and caramell, and some bitterness, as well as some sweetness. The beer has characteristics of berries and pleasant hops aroma. It is well balanced, and the impression is a beer where no single taste dominates the others. It is perhaps a bit on the thin side, but otherwise rather good.
