From 5/21/10 notes. Had at a local DC tasting.
a - Pours a reddish amber color with one inch off white head.
s - Smells of dark fruits, molasses, and smooth bready malts.
t - Tastes of dark fruits, caramel malts, and bready malts.
m - Medium body and high carbonation.
d - Ok, but nothing special. A pretty standard Quad, probably wouldn't look to have again.

Thanks to yespr for sharing this bottle at the RBSG 08 Grand Tasting. Pours a dark orange-brown color with a sticky tan head. Lots of lacing. Aromas of caramel and overripe plum. Flavor has got a sweet toasty maltiness with some red fruits and perfumey alcohol. Surprisingly thick and chewy body, considering the lighter-than-normal color for a quad.
