Mom always said; "Don't have so much hops in the ipa that it gets unbalanced". It should be bitter, but in interaction with alcohol, sweetness and aroma. Just like good rock. That's why IPA and rock are like eggs and bacon!

500 ml bottle, batch #23, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. v.08 and the the cited description are not mentioned on the label. ABV is 7%, IBU 65. Hops are Simcoe, Cascade, Amarillo and Citra. Orange to brown colour, huge to large white head. Aroma of fruity and piney hops, some spicy hints. Fruity and piney hops in the flavour to, a hint of jam, but not too sweet. Lacks the finishing touch of freshness.

Look: Caramel gold with a nice white head
Smell: Piney and sweet. Caramel notes doused in piney hops.
Taste: A blast of bitter pine on the attack followed by s clean caramel backbone.
Feel: Good carbonation. Medium bitterness. Mild alcohol.
Overall: A standard west coast style IPA. Nothing that will blow you away but still solid.
