This is a reddish-amber beer, clear, with a small head. Not much lace. The aroma is nice, however. It presents a bready and toasted malt smell. The aroma is a bit too roasted to be a true bock smell, but it does give some pleasing caramel and dough notes. The taste is a little sweet, which is accentuated by a low carbonation. A bit more pale malt flavor comes through in the taste. It's a light body brew, but the flavor is pretty solid. The finish is clean and straightforward. Low hops...no real aroma or flavor, and just a touch of bitterness. Although not outstanding, this is well made and quite drinkable.
