500ml bottle.
L: Clear chestnut colour with a thin head and some lacing.
S: Clean. Hint of malt but not much.
T: Caramel, toffee, semi-sweet, low bitterness. Some leafy hops in the finish.
F: Medium/light body, some stickiness.
O: Very trad, CAMRA-style, low ABV, English bitter. Hops used mainly for bittering. Barley malt delivers flavour. Underpowered compared to more modern beers.

Sampled on cask at Telfords Warehouse in Chester
Poured amber with a nice white head
Excellent lacing and light carbonation
Initially had the flavor of sweet malts, but were overrun by a dry bitter finish
Medium mouthfeel, went well with lighter and heavier foods
Worth having a few
