27.12.2017: 500 ml bottle, from Aberdeen Country Fair. BB Oct. 2017. ABV is 5.2%, IBU 35. Golden colour, only slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Aroma of mango, lychee and some biscuity notes, but not as fresh as I hoped. The flavour has the same elements, but lacks also freshness. Noticeable bittering hops.

Bottle pour into 2/3 pint glass

Quite pale yellow; looks like lager. Pleasant though mild tropical fruits on nose and palate. A little insipid for my tastes but would be quite a good thirst quencher on a hot day. Decent enough but more guts required to push it into "good" territory.

Pint at the Society Rooms in Glasgow. NEw Zealand themed beer with four NZ grown hops. Gold to amber coloured beer (probably: poor artificial lighting in the back of the pub) with a white 'spoons type head. It smells of hose water which is usually a good sign. Sweet in a generic white sugar fashion to start and on the syrupy side. Then it becomes slightly more biscuity with a white wine to Kendal mint cake aspect. However, that makes it sound more interesting than I found it. It was on the insipid side for a beer of this strength and feel. Could have done with a little more bite.
