Drinking in honor of U.K. beer day. This is technically classified as Elysium II and had a percent less alcohol.
Poured from a 330ml bottle into a speiglau BA glass. Look is pitch black with just a hint of tan head.
Aroma is dense roasted malt with just a hint of whiskey at the end. Not sweet like bourbon, but more intense alcohol heat.
Wow, taste is like a shot in an imperial sout. A mix of roast and whiskey with a slight sourness (not sure if that is on purpose or not).
Definitely a fun drinker on a cool summer night.
