Pours a light hazy golden with a little head, nice lacing but nothing much for retention. Mellow malt body with a bright watermelon hop character that slides into green part/rind almost-bitterness in both smell and flavor. The flavor is a little more of an earthiness, watermelon rind as well, I suppose, but not bitter at all in a sharp sense. Nice soft feel with a nigh-juicy dryhop character in the nose, but lacking the snap needed to really drive the hoppiness home and balance it out, in my humble opinion. A very nice beer nonetheless with a lovely hop character and a nice drinkable character overall.
