Marielyst 21/10 2017. 33 cl bottle from Meny. Black label with the mandatory mug of beer and a handful of medals.
Pours clear light amber with small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is quite generic and exactly what I would expect from a cheap Vienna which usually goes under the description "Classic" in Denmark. Grainy and sweetish with caramel and brown sugar. Sourish notes.
Medium strong carbonation and thin watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet with only very light bitterness for balance. Aftertaste is sweet caramel.
What could be expected from a cheap Danish Vienna. Not too bad when you drink it cold.
