Pours black, builds a small beige head. Some roastiness, cocoa and a hint of coffee both in aroma and flavours. Thin mouthfeel. There's some herbal hoppiness to balance it.
Good and cheap Porter.

The taste is too soft for a porter. There's a hint of some chemical

Lighter mahogany color with a thick beige head and a short retention, but leaving laces.
Sweet light aroma with notes of chocolate.
Flavor with notes of cocoa chocolate, coca-cola, American coffee, spices, coconut and herbal hops. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness and a roasted lingering note on the background.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Its body could be just a tad bolder, even being a Porter, on the other hand it is very easy to drink and refreshing, but still flavorful.

It was a gift from my daugther, a nice surprise.
A- It is a dark reddish clear beer with a nice amber foam that remains up for a little while, nice lace.Carbonation is in the right place.
S- You can sniff some toffe and roasted malt aromas,a bit of earthy hops can be noticeable as well.
T- It tastes very good, complex toffe-chocolate-coco hints while earthy hops are present balancing malty flavors.Aftertaste is softy bitter.
M- Medium body, not bad at all but more thickness would be appreciated.

330ml bottle poured into pint glass 19/8/11
A dark cola with enough clarity to see the shitload of tiny bubbles that maintain a thick mocha head thats still a thick foam at the bottom of the glass, if the lace was organized this would look perfect
S chocolate ,raisin and a little Smokey char with some dark fruit I cant quite place
T prune and coco powder with just a little coffee on top of what I smell, a little sweet molasses but pretty tasty stuff
M basic in this department, thin and more bubbles then needed, great lingering aftertaste of chocolate covered raisins helps its cause
O I was digging this one for sure, not a meaty porter but a great change form all the crappy corn and rice lagers I've drinking
I'm not sure if I'm being easy on this one or if it's the first good beer I've had in a while, I'm pretty sure I'd slam this back anywhere in the world with a smile on my face

brought this one in a supermarcado here in buenos aires, good to find some craft beer. hope its tasty.
A. poured into a pint glass, pours a darkish black with about an inch of head that quickly settles, leaving a thin film that lasts the rest of the journey. looks pretty good.
S. a touch malty and sweet upfront, with a hint of smoke and roast in the backround. a little bit subdued by pleasant.
T. again, a touch sweet and malty, but also like the smell the raostiness and smokiness are a little subdued.
M. probably the lowest scoring area, its a bit thin, needs a touch more body, and the carbonation is a little too tingly.
O. not a bad drop, flavours are pleasant, even though it could do with a bit more. and body is a touch thin, but apart from that its decent.

Served in Antares bar in Mendoza, Argentina
Very thin for a porter with a very Black / Tan appearance. Thin foamy head didn“t hold for long but good deep colour and satisfying coffe & chocolate aroma.
Lacks a little body but a good Porter and very enjoyable. Worth looking out for.

Poured with a tan frothy head and some lace. Had very dark cherry - mahogany, almost opaque color. Aroma was of dark malts (despite its description in the bar)almost no if any chocolate and some roastiness. It's a simple porter; not much depth. Body's a bit thin with fine carbonation. Burnt sugar finish with a little alcohol warming. Not bad, but nothing speccial.

The colour is black with a deep brown edge, when poured, the liquid seemed clear. The finger thick head is beige and firm. Some lacing.
The smell is very fruity (fruit candy, bananas, kiwis, melon) with notes of liquorice, German rye bread and a touch of paint.
The taste is bitter with lots of exotic fruits, caramelized sugar and a slight chemical flavour (oil paint?). Some roasted malt with a very mild smoky note. The aftertaste is quite short with some roasted sweet fruity notes as well as a sour bitterness that reminds me of candy.
The carbonation is rather strong; small fresh bubbles. The liquid is light.
A very unusual interpretation of the porter style; I cannot really say if I think it is a porter or not. In any case I liked the beer.

Bottle courtesy of mgermani: Poured a deep black color porter with a small dirty brown foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some bitterness and light notes of black chocolate with some coffee. Taste is a mix between some light bitter notes from roasted malt with some notes of black chocolate and coffee. Body is a bit thin for the style with some average carbonation.

Another surprise from Antares, and a delight to find up here in Vancouver.
Nice dark colour with a foamy, classic lingering two-finger head. No lacing. Tinny, roasted to burnt malt smell.
Much better taste. Roasted malt, slight hop profile. Slight coffee and chocolate hints. Not on the level of Fuller's, but certainly one of the better porters -domestic or imported- that I've had.
Silky body, low carbonation and accepatble aftertaste. Well done, and I hope to see this again.
