Light gold with a small white head. Mild aromas of wheat and some malt. Palate has wheat in control with a distinct fruitiness present. Mostly raspberries with some stonefruits. Odd for a Kolsch. Finish is dry, crisp and lingering. Light mouthfeel, very refreshing and easy-drinking. Pretty, good, but nothing special. I hope thier other offerings are better. Won't try this one again.

Pale golden hue, with a slight murk. Thin, but dense and persistent porcelain white head leaves loose lace. Soft, bready pilsner malt along with hints of wheat tartness in aroma. Trace berry like fruitiness. No hop nose whatsoever. Non descript, innocuous grainy basemalt overtone in flavor. Subdued sweet, red apple like fruit esters. Gently bittered, but the meager residual sweetness leaves an overall dry impression. Herbal hop hints. Very clean. Lightly dextrinous, approaching thin in mouthfeel, but aptly conducive to quaffability. Finishes lightly sweet, with a snap of lightly baked biscuit. Balanced in overall profile, but perhaps overly tame. Lacks the "finesse" of good Kolsch, but is cleanly crafted, even immaculately so. It's amazing how versatile the Sierra Nevada yeast strain is.
