A really interesting beer.
Dark amber leaning towards brown, clear with a slight head.
Wow... the aroma is way good. Hazelnuts, vanilla and malts all come together to pull you in. The flavor --- similar but with some added hop prickliness and some bitter toasty notes.
Mouthfeel is good but could be a tad smoother. Lingering vanilla aftertaste.
Overall, an excellent beer. one of my favorites at the Little Apple.
