Nice, deep reddish color, with a decent, off white head that receeded to thin tendrils across the top of the beer. Toasted aroma (assuming the malts) with a bit of caramel in there, as well. Toasted aroma is a bit strong, but not too overwhelming.
The toasted flavor is right up front in the taste, with the caramel flavor backing it up. Again, a bit strong, but not offensive. Mouthfeel is smooth, and not too thin.
Not quite what I expected from an O'fest brew, but excellent at the same time. Very drinkable.

Reddish amber hue w/ a slight haze. Thin, but tight off white head leaves sparse lace. Assertive floral Mittelfruh hop nose accompanied by medium caramel malt and lightly toasty Munich malt in aroma. Pleasant, but tame aromawise. Bready sweetness hits the palate upfront then yields to malt character that mirrors the aroma-- medium caramel malt coupled with Munich malt dominates the flavor profile. Hop bitterness is mild, lending an overall sweet impression. Moderately bodied, w/ a smooth, yet light American amber like mouthfeel. Finishes a touch sweet and toasty. Labco Ofest is a unique rendition of the style-- it's akin to a rich American amber / Oktoberfest hybrid. Excellent drinkabilty.
