Consumed 04/28/08.
Unfiltered cloudy lemon yellow with nice lacing.
Aroma has German-style cloves and other spices (coriander?). YES! I love me some German styled hefe! Only down side is the slight rubber aroma.
Flavors include subtle notes of cloves and spice, mild juicy fruitiness (bananas mainly), and some hop bitterness at end (an American style note?). Beer is effervescent in the mouth, almost like a sparkling wine (with accompanying dryness).
Interesting hybrid and the best of the beers I tried at Murrieta that day.
