Picked up a growler for the thanksgiving weekend: poured into a custom grip shaped glass, color is dark brown, head is light tan with fine bubbles that present with a 1/4 inch head, head dissipates to thin top.
Smell is light roast, but thin, seems a bit different than fresh on tap as the lingering notes are thin roastiness and not much else.
Taste is has a bit more flavor than aroma with light roast, some cocoa, hops are neutral, maybe some grassiness. Its a simple stout and easy drinking.
Mouthfeel is clean, moderately carbonated, lingering crispness.
Overall a good beer, a bit better fresh on tap but also easy drinking as a thinner stout.

Slightly more fruity and less earthy and roasty than most stouts, but I thought it was quite good. A little thin, nicely carbonated. Not my favorite stout of all time but a nice change of pace.
