When poured from a growler into a pint glass, it had that typical IPA copper penny color with a white, tightly beaded head. The aroma of this brew once decanted was amazing. The sweet malt base with its hints of caramel, the enormous hop boquet with its flowery, citrus-orange and the green apple ester just pushing through made for an awesome first impression. As the beer progressed across my tounge, you got hit with the huge flowery hop flavor, but the malt kicks in just in time to lend its sweetness followed by a dry finish. Then the beer just begs for you to start the process over again. This was an awesome tasting, and mine was from a two week old growler!

well balanced IPA. Not too hoppy, and you can taste malt, which was peppery. Good aftertaste, not overly carbonated. Just a bit of head. Fresh positive smell to all Bullfrog beers. All the beers here are good and would go well with food. Candidate for bottling.
