On tap into pint glass. Completely opaque, dull yellow. Looks like a lot of the Vermont IPAs you see these days. Taste is heavy on grapefruit wirh some nice hop bitterness. I found it rather refreshing and better than I expected from the ratings here. If you see this, give it a chance.

Growler drunk the night of pour:
Cloudy, looks a tad like a white ale, but a bit clearer than that. Not much head on this pour, but what little is there seems to sit and not leave. No lacing.
Smell is really quite nice. Yes, there is grapefruit, but also a grapefruit bitterness and citra-piney note peaking its head out from behind the more obvious nose of grapefruit.
Taste opens with a medium body, indicating a dose of malt, but the bitterness comes in quickly. A more straight grapefruit juice note flashes through the beer going into mid-taste. This fades to a lightly grassy, but mostly pithy bitter ending. Carbonation is fine.
This APA categorized beer really leans a little more IPA, I think. I believe the store had it as an APA, so I am guessing the brewery is calling it one. A little raw, but it is not a dull beer. Maybe a little smoothing of the edges to take this to a higher rating.

Pours very pale & straw colored, a little hazy. If you like grapefruit then you may really enjoy this beer, but to me it tasted more like a weak pale ale that had grapefruit juice mixed. The flavors are thin but it's thin & artifical tasting. Pretty bitter too if that's what you're looking for. Not my style
