This is an "occassional" beer that the brewer was trying out and brought to the Appalachian Brewing Co.'s fest in September 2004. It may not be available any longer. Please check with the brewery.
Billed as an "all-organic pale ale". It is copper-colored with a light ginger scent on the nose. It has a creamy mouthfeel, but the flavor is very light and pleasant with nothing jumping out. A very subtle ginger flavor, maybe. It is on the finish and in the aftertaste that the ginger really presents itself, and with a bang. Yummy, especially if you like the sharp taste of ginger. It is a very pleasant beer for the late summer/early fall.
