the bullfrog maibock pours gold with a hint of bronze and rather bubbly. fun to watch. properly crowned with foam.
smells of corn and tangy hops. vanilla and butterscotch creep into my nostrils. this beer explodes with flavor, much more than anticipated by appearance and scent. slight hops introduce the intensity, and huge nuttiness and a uniquely fruity blend of strawberry and apple kick this maibock up to an unprecendented level of experimentation.
full of flavor for such a light beer.. perfect session beer here. seriously, hands off.
