I had this on tap at the brewpub.
Arrives a very cloudy orangey/amber with a one finger cream colored head, which drops in a few minutes to a nice coating and a ring around the glass. Can't really see much carbonation. Decent lacing on the glass.
A fruity aroma with faint citrus hops, faint toffee, bready malts, and maybe a little yeasty.
Flavor is kind of sweet bready yeasty malts, smooth, yet with a slight sour tang, a fair hop bitterness, and some citrusy/grassy hops there in the back. There is definitely a pleasant tartness to this well balanced beer.
Mouthfeel is a medium malt sweetness, not heavy or anything, a tart/bitter splash, and a pretty good zing from carbonation. The aftertaste is lip smacking sweetness with a final touch of tartness.
This would be a good "session" beer. I don't remember the ABV, and didn't write it down, but this would be a pounder. Reminds me of something you would have in an English pub, and it's even refreshing!
