Like most of the other fruited versions, oaky but just ending strangely medicinal. Just not worth it.

This one pours a a bright clear straw yellow, with a small head, and no lacing.
Smells oaky, but not quite as oaky as some of the other variants. I get sweet grapes, slight acidity, and lemony funk.
This doesn't feel quite as bold as beautiful as some of the best Grrrz variants (Kriek, Apricot, Plum, etc), but it's a mighty tasty wild ale. Like I said above, it's fairly oaky, but not the oak bomb most of the other variants are. The grapes don't stand out a ton, and mainly add a little sweetness. There is some other fruitiness, a kind of almost pineapple-like funk, with lemons as well.
This is light bodied, crisp, and well carbonated. It's very drinkable.
It's always fun to try these beers. It's somewhere

A big thanks to the guys at Bullfrog for this one. 375ml corked and caged ceramic bottle into a Surly teku. Shared with schen9303. Cork ejected as soon as the cage was unlatched.
Great looking bright and clear goldenrod color. Nose is lightly tart with hints of lemon, biscuit and wood with a vinous quality. Beer opens lightly tart. White grapes with again, a touch of biscuit, yeast and lemon peel. There's a bit of an odd sweetness in the middle and end. Finishes foamy and woody. Body is light with ample carbonation. Smooth and prickly on the palate and aggressive going down with a messy, dry finish.
Not the best in the series but fitting for their anniversary offering.
