Appearance: hazy straw-golden pour, great big head.
Smell: Lactic tartness, lemon, must, mold, some off element.
Taste: Hops here are at odds with the sour element. A little too heavy on the lactic acid, as opposed to other sour elements, something off with the brett, a weird off-element I can't pin down. Other elements: pear, ginger, apple cider vinegar, lychee - more like a cocktail than a beer really.
Mouthfeel: light and creamy, but could be more so in each respectively
Drinkability: Good for a glass, not for a bottle.

750ml bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis.
This cork was a pain in the butt to get out.
Poured a deeper and cloudy golden color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of lemons, some funkiness, lighter leather, brett, and fruity. Tastes of lighter funkiness, fruity, and some spiciness. Light tart and sour finish.

A careful pour into my large Tripel Karmeliet tulip still produces a fluffy, five-finger thick, pale tan colored head that slowly rises an additional two, wait make that three fingers in height above the rim of my glass without any overflow. As the head slowly recedes it leaves lots of lacing on the sides of my glass and forms odd, variegated mesas and quite the rocky surface. The beer itself starts out with a fare amount of haze and an orange tinged, light amber color. The aroma is quite expressive with a nice mix of ripe fruit, light spice and a soft, underlying funkiness. Aromas of ripe pear, aromatic-varietal apples, sour plums, light fruit vinegar notes, musty blankets, ginger, white pepper, yeasty-dough like malt, crushed cracker grain, freshly crushed pale malt, grains of paradise notes, lemon zest, orange zest and a light herbal note. What a fantastically complex nose, I really like what the light tartness and soft funkiness brings to this beer, even without these notes though it is still quite complex and interesting.
Dry tasting and lightly tart; it almost has a vinegar like edge to it, though it is quite soft. The tartness up front slowly melds and is almost subsumed by a herbal, sharp hop bitterness in the finish that at times can seem at odds with the tartness. The light tartness, is substantial enough to tingle my dry lips a bit, and it also boosts a nice fruitiness that can almost have a bit of sweetness to it at times (though I think this is purely a phantom perception on my part). Citrusy hop notes of bergamot, Meyer lemon, grapefruit and some lychee are all accentuated by the sour notes. Spicy, fermentation character provides a subtle note compared to the hops, but certainly contributes here; woody black pepper, young ginger and a spicy yeast note are noticeable. As the beer warms a bit fruit flavors of pear, tart-ripe plum, green apple and, as it warms a apple pie like note that almost has a cinnamon-like accent to it. Wow, as this warms up it can really start to get herbal and quite bitter in the finish, I think the up front tartness can overly accentuate the harsher side of the hop character in the finish at times. I really like how light and quaffable this is, but it certainly is not watery textured, there is just enough heft to move things along.
As it really warms up it actually starts to pick up a touch of soft, malty sweetness to it. The second pour of this beer also adds a hint more raw dough (mix of grain and yeast flavors) character to the flavor. The herbal / astringent / bitter hop character in the finish almost reminds me of a peppery / green arugula like note. In some ways the herbal hop notes in the finish start to mimic the spicy, astringent character that can be picked up from an oak barrel. This is probably the most hoppy & sour beer that I have had. It serves as an example that proves the old brewing rule that sourness and hops should not be mixed, but it does it quite well and ultimately is quite tasty and drinkable.

Poured from a corked and caged 750ml bottle into a Smutty Big Beer tulip. Tight cork in bottle.
Cloudy yellowish brown golden hay color with half finger of off white thinfoamy head leaves nice lacing as beer is drunk. Smells fruity like peaches, apricots, and mango but not overpowering light sour/funky smell almost hidden by the fruit. Taste more sour than smell would let on. Very sour and fruity but well balanced. Some prickling going on my tounge after. Reminds me of an sourer fruitier Orval. Very easy to drink and could drink it every day.

This is the singel refermented w/ brettanomyces. I had the opportunity to try this at Goggleworks alongside Beekeeper and Edgar. Poured from a 750ml brown bottle
A - Slightly tarnished gold w/ a ring of white head for a lace
S - Peaches, kumquat, and pear w/ a slight pineapple and tangerine aroma, very unique(literally) and intense aroma
M - Very sweet and sour like a cocktail of exotic fruits that are comingled w/ a lemony back w/ bitter citrus peel and a bit of funky earthy notes
T- A flavor that has malt crispness blended w/ a spiced yeast and fruity sour brett accent that balances, but doesn't overwhelm the palate. The bit of citrus intensity w/ a dash of dragonfruit's dry sweet qualities rounds out the flavor w/ a puckering quality. This is a great flavor w/ nice golden pale malt and sweetness w/ just enough spice
D - A fine sour, but it only adds slightly in a new dimension for the original single that I really enjoyed a lot. Very nice texture and taste results from the souring

Interesting beer made with Belgian yeast, brett and malts with a healthy dose of American hops (Pallisade, Crystal and Willamette)
A-Light copper with a thin white head. Nice lacing throughout.
S-Sweet candi sugar combined with that unmistakable Belgian yeast aroma. Nice peppery hop aroma becomes more aggressive as it warms...along with scents of buttery French Oak aged Chardonnay. Light notes of lemon and apple cider vinegar.
T-Total kick ass...Belgian yeast and sweet biscuity malt meets an American hop profile and a splash of lemon juice tartness. This is very much like a low ABV version of Urthel Hop-It with a zip of lemony tartness.
M-Initially sharp and crisp that ends with a slightly sticky feel. Medium body holds up very well to the large hop bill. Sourness flavour is light but long lasting.
D-For a 5% brew this has a lot of flavor going on. Very well done and totally enjoyable. A nice job with the brett addition as it leaves most of the characteristics of the original version with a subtle touch of tart lemon juice and apple cider vinegar zip.
