On tap at Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport, PA.
This one pours a dirty but clear dull orange color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like funky apricot, old leather, white wine, cheese rind, and citrus.
This whole series is monstrously funky, and this is not an exception. There’s a moderate apricot character, with tons of cheesy and leathery funk. There’s overripe lemon and citrus, too, along with a very dry wine character.
This is dry and very sour, which lingers for a while on the palate. It’s a slow sipper.
I really like coming across another variant in the Old Gold series. They are some great beers.
