Called a pale ale at the brewpub but this is without question like an English dark mild. Maybe the local patrons would be put off with a beer called "mild"?
A-Deep, slightly hazed copper with a thin off white head that left light webbing lace.
S-Herbal hop notes and roasted nuts. Light aroma but certainly not lacking. A hint of musty notes in the background.
T-Sharp, herbal hop bite with a following of nuttiness and wood. Roasted malts add to the remarkably varied flavour profile in the dry finish.
M-Medium-light bodied--sharp yet smooth with a dry, oak finish. Lingering herbal bitterness.
D-Totally! Full of flavour but a low ABV....this is a great warm weather drinker. Regardless of what they want to call this beer it is a session and a half beer!
