Kegs Gone Wild at Bullfrog.
A: The ale is a golden straw color, hazed over with a thin wispy head. The ale seems durable, thick even.
S: The nose is citric and musty, not an in-your-face tartness, just a pleasant Bretty bite. The pale body of the ale gets lost amidst the brett.
T: Where Liquid Sunshine Reserva was a tart monster, te Kegs Gone Wild version stresses the earthy, horseblanket brett. The mustiness is cut by lemons and citric bite, but not in an offputting way. The funk seems at home atop the BPA base, although that base never really makes itself known.
M: The mouthfeel is dirty, a bretty playground that has just enough flavor. Not much citric, and no acetic, presence.
D: I had two glasses. The Kegs Gone Wild concept at Bullfrog is a winner; I hope they keep the tradition alive.
